User Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to request deletion of personal data collected through the Uptown Place Apartments website, contact forms, tour-request forms, waitlist forms, apply-online inquiry links, or the Uptown Place Apartments Facebook Page.

How to Request Deletion

To request deletion of your personal data collected through this website or its Facebook Page, email RFM@Hignell.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request” and include your name and the email address or phone number you used to contact us.

We will confirm and complete deletion within 30 days, except where we are required to retain information for legal, accounting, property-management, application-record, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or regulatory purposes.

What to Include

Your full name.
The email address and/or phone number you used when contacting Uptown Place Apartments.
Where you submitted your information, if known — for example, website contact form, tour request, waitlist form, Facebook Page message, Messenger, Meta lead form, or application inquiry.
A short statement that you are requesting deletion of your personal data.

What Happens Next

After receiving your request, Uptown Place Apartments or Hignell Rentals may need to verify your identity or clarify the information you want deleted. We will then delete or de-identify eligible personal information within 30 days, unless we need to retain certain records for permitted legal or business reasons.

Information We May Not Be Able to Delete Immediately

Some records may need to be retained where required or permitted by law, including application records, lease-related records, accounting records, security/fraud-prevention records, legal compliance records, or records necessary to resolve disputes.

Meta/Facebook Data

If you interacted with Uptown Place Apartments through Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, or Meta lead forms, you may also have data stored by Meta. You can manage or delete certain information directly through your Meta/Facebook account settings. Requests sent to RFM@Hignell.com apply to data available to Uptown Place Apartments or Hignell Rentals, not all data independently held by Meta.
